Prayers At The Congress

John Adams wrote a letter to Abigail Adams, telling her that during the break at congress in Philadelphia a delegate mention that they should pray before starting the congress. Many people agree and didn´t agree because of the difference of religion, but they take it in consideration and approve that they should pray by saying a Psalm. The purpose of this letter to John was to communicate to Abigail that she should read and tell to others that Psalm.

"I must confess I never heard a better Prayer or one, so well pronounced. Episcopalian as he is, Dr. Cooper" (John Adams 677). This qoute is an example of the rethorical device appeal to emotion. This rethorical device is important to the letter because it shows the reader how the writter expresses throughly his feelings and it explains the reader that his feelings toward praying is important. "I must beg you to read that Psalm" (John Adam 678). This qoute is an example of the rethorical device of persuasion. We can see that the writter persuades the reader to pray the Psalm, because is great to hear a pray or a bible lecture in the mornings.

Mr. Patrick Henry:

Fellow Citizens of America now is the moment to decide for our future. Now is the time to make our country a better place to live. What high price should our fellow Americans pay for this liberty? Going to fight against a power? If we win great we have liberty but if we don’t we suffer economically, political and human lives and will be under their power. Do we have the capacity to fight? Why making these big and making this aggressive? A better solution is doing it in a calm way. In a political peaceful way. Why having to fight against a high power? Its true let´s have patriotism and fight for what we want, and be loyal to our country, but let’s do it in a nonviolence way. Making this you are not only going to lose economically but you are going to lose human lives. If you want to fight against high power you should have allies, and having allies is being compromise, or it would cost money. Me as American, do not agree to your petition to go to war. Why war? The only thing we want is peace. You Mr. Henry once said: Judging the future but by the past, well do you want us and our children to remember further on that we make destruction and that we lose because we wanted to have freedom we would remember that we gain liberty by making destruction instead of looking a better way to gain liberty. Why going to war and cause destruction because we are going to make destruction and not only that, we are going to lose lives. Is that what you want? It’s that what we deserve? Why don´t we focus on making this country rise instead of thinking in ways that would make us go down. The only thing I want is peace and that our children live in a peace place. Why can´t we have peace? Why suffering? I hope you take this in consideration.

I would like to spread my plan to the world. My plan it is just to make the world a better world for our future generations. I would try my best to make this plan come true and that way it wouldn´t just be words instead actions. First I will create jobs to people who need jobs. Second, I would do field work so that we appreciate what nature has to offer. Finally I would protect the environment. The people that would I like they follow my plan are the world leaders. Leaders should follow my plan because they want to be part of the changes that would benefit them and turn them into better leaders. They are going to be excluded from making the world a better world. People should not just care on themselves they should care about people who really need help from those who have. Despite the problems we have been living the last few years is our duty to change and make the world be the better for our future generations.

Friday 13, 1675, it all began with a colorful day when they arrive (Valerie Thompson squaw). It started when some men arrived and evict people from their houses it was all confusing and at the same time scary. I tried to run with my three children, Tom who is 18 years old, Sara who is 10 and Johnny who is 3. We didn´t know what to do, we were standing and starring at the window how they hitted every single person and killing them. When a member from the squaw saw us he run toward us. He separates me from my children I just saw them cry and desperate I didn´t know what to do suddenly a woman approaches and tells me “do you want to see your children again well then you need to cooperate”. But I was thinking to myself in what way would I help her if I didn´t actually knew anything. When I understood that she needed me too be her slave. And the only thing she wanted from us was just to be part of her squaw and be able to participate in the war where they fight for land and power. I was really confused when those evil beast started talking of the harm they will do to some children and the first image that came to my mind where my little children. They stop the truck and two men get down of the truck and help all of us to be able to get down. She knew my life Valerie Thompson knew my name, knew who is my husband. They gave me my children and we spent the night in a camp house they had. When I hear Valerie Thompson who was talking to her assistant and she was telling him “we are going to attack Eduardo Cyrus squaw”. I was paralyze when I hear her saying that about my husband squaw, when I realize that she had me capture because she knew that her enemy was my husband. I wake my older child and told him what I have heard. “Mom let´s escape from this place and go to dads squaw, I know he is closer from here” he told me with a desperate voice. “Ok let´s wake them up and go”. Finally we are really separate from Valerie Squaw. When we saw my husband all worry trying to figure out a plan, I told him I know their plan, they know you are going south so they will attack you by south so be prepare. When I saw his face he was all worry about what was going too happened. I lie down and think about a backup plan. Thursday 19, 1675 today is the day where my husband squaw is going to fight against Valerie for a piece of land. The night arrived and Eduard isn´t here, I´m really freaking out. He won the battle. We finally arrived home. When we arrived my husband received applause for his courage and was name king of the Battles.

The article deals with a nineteen year old mom that was arrested for posting a picture of her baby with a bong of marijuana in facebook. The people that this article involves is the nineteen year old mom, and their family members. The baby mom was arrested on august 19, 2010, by posting a picture wher her baby is with the face in a bong of marijuana, but they examine the baby and the baby was fine. His mom was just trying to have fun. The article writter seems to be a spokeman from the department of Childrens and Family. My opinion of this article is that it was fair to have the mom arrested because even if it is just for making fun of it, is something you don´t play with because of the consecuences.
